How exciting! The September spring holidays are here, which means that locals and holidaymakers can treat themselves to some fabulous FREE movies at Tickle Park in Coolum. There is nothing more appealing and exciting for the kids than packing a picnic, blankets and chairs and settling back to enjoy some awesome family movies, under the stars! Here's hoping that the weather gods are kind to us outdoor movie buffs.

First off, we have -

JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE
RATING: PG
SATURDAY 23 SEPTEMBER, FROM 6.00pm



Some high school kids unearth an old video game console and find themselves being drawn into the game’s jungle setting, evolving into the adult avatars that they chose. They then discover that Jumanji is not just a game to play, it’s a game you need to survive. To beat the game and to return to the real world, these kids have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, alter their perceptions of themselves or they WILL be stuck in the Jumanji game forever.

POKEMON: DETECTIVE PIKACHU
RATING: PG
SATURDAY 30 SEPTEMBER, FROM 6.00pm



In a world where people collect Pokémon to do battle, a boy comes across an intelligent talking Pikachu, who wants to be a detective.

The story begins when a top detective (Harry Goodman) mysteriously disappears, prompting his son (Tim) to find him or at least try to find out what happened. Helping Tim is his dad’s former Pokémon partner, Detective Pikachu: a seriously funny, wise-cracking, very adorable super-sleuth, who is an enigma, even to himself. These two unlikely characters discover that they are actually equipped to communicate with one another, so join forces to set off on a thrilling adventure, hoping to unravel the mystery of Tim’s missing dad.

Pokémon: Detective Pikachu is a fabulous fantasy comedy that the whole family will enjoy.



Bookmark the dates and come along to enjoy two FREE family-friendly flicks under the stars, with live music and face painting, from about 5.00pm-ish. Movies start at about 6.00pm.
Make sure to get there early to reserve your spot in the park. Raid the piggy-bank as there will be hot dogs, snacks, sweets and popcorn available to add to that truly authentic movie experience.
