Flabuless, free outdoor fitness classes in Cockburn
Do you love keeping fit, but hate the price tag that comes with joining a gym? The City of Cockburn is currently running free fitness classes for families during March and April.
Free Flabuless Family Fun In Your Local Park are community run fitness classes for anyone who wants to get a bit fitter or lead a healthier lifestyle.

Starting from Wednesday, 1st March, these half-hour sessions will run every Wednesday in March and April at 5:30pm and locations vary each week. There will be three sessions per night, at 5:30pm, 6pm and 6:30pm.
There is no need to book – simply turn up, have some fun and burn some calories at the same time. These sessions are suitable for any age and fitness ability, so even the best couch potatoes have no excuse for not turning up.
Participants will be guided under the watchful eye of a fitness instructor from South Lake Leisure Centre, and programs will change on a weekly basis, just to keep you on your toes. Each class will make use of free, outdoor fitness equipment when available.
The sessions will be held at Coogee Beach Reserve, Nicholson Road in Yangebup, Anning Park in Jandakot, Cockburn Seniors Centre in Spearwood, Botany Park in Hammond Park, Bibra Lake Golf Course on Progress Drive and Doherty Reserve in Coolbellup. For the full location details, read on here.
Cockburn has lots of free exercise equipment dotted around the city.
If you want to feel flabuless this Autumn and avoid the often-inevitable winter weight gain, these sessions may be the kickstart you need – and you don't even need to part with any of your hard-earned dollars.
