Located in the heart of the city is one of the most historic and aesthetically pleasing gardens. Once a swamp, Fitzroy Gardens is now home to sweeping lawns and English trees. In addition to public events like the Sunset Series every summer, the Gardens also host a FREE walking tour every Saturday till December.

From 10am to 11am, you and your family can learn more about this 26 hectares garden including the Conservatory, Captain Cook's Cottage, the Fairies' Tree, model Tudor village, fountain and statues. The tour starts at the Fitzroy Gardens Visitor Centre and no bookings are required.
