Get Fit Have Fun
Fitness doesn't have to be expensive, and it doesn't have to be solitary! There's heaps of people who want it be simple and fun- like it should be! These are just some of the free group activities that are happening now around Perth.

Add Some Intensity to Your Thursday Morning / Source: Visit Perth City
For those not familiar, Crossfit is an exercise program that provides a high intensity workout, designed to build your muscles up. If you're keen to get up early and into it, free classes are held on the Piazza Lawn, 6.30 Thursday mornings. Everyone is welcome, including beginners, and bookings aren't required, so just rock up and give it a go!
Get healthy and get social on your Friday night. From 6.30 until 8.30 you can experience Yoga mixed with live music, Kirtan and Yogic dance- this night will bring out the history and culture behind yoga, as well a great but gentle workout. It's free, just RSVP through the website and grab your yoga mat.

For those who prefer to just lace up their joggers and get running, there's 5k run every up at Joondalup's Neil Hawkin's Park. It's a group run, not a race, but so long s you remember to bring your barcode, you'll get given your time. Come along and enjoy the social aspect of fitness. It's completely free- just don't forget to register before your first run.
