During August and September, there's something amazing happening for the entire family, especially the kids, at Lakeside Joondalup shopping centre.

Over the next four weeks, on every Sunday, there is going to loads of free family fun be had, with delightful sing and dance along shows for the kids, face painters, balloon twisters, fairy floss, live musical acts, a big bouncy castle, an animal farm with some of the cutest baby animals this side of the river, the Aussie Bakehouse will be there and nearby will also be special appearances from the NovaFM Casanovas, plus heaps of free giveaways.

On Sunday the 26th of August, there will be a live performance of Alvin and The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked at 11AM and again at 2PM. Alvin and his pals will have you and the kids up and dancing and helping them find there way back from their desert island paradise and make sure to bring the camera, because there will be a meet and greet after the show.

On Sunday the 2nd of September, Shrek will be coming all the way out of the swamp, just to come to Joondalup to put on a show for you and the kids at both 11AM and again at 2PM and he will even be doing a meet and greet after, so be sure to remember that camera.

On Sunday the 9th of September, the one and only, ever popular Alex the lion from Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted will be putting on a show, just like in his movies at both 11AM and 2PM and yet again, don't forget that camera, because he wants to meet all of his adoring fans!

On Sunday the 16th of September, the Bananas In Pyjamas will be putting on an all singing, all dancing show, filled with tricks and games at both 11AM and 2PM, also followed by a special meet and greet.
