Where can you take the family this weekend?
Sculpture by the Sea
3-20 Mar
Cottlesloe Beach

Cottlesloe Beach

This is an annual event that must not be missed. For the thirteenth year, various unique and thought-provoking sculptures will decorate the sands and lawns of Cottlesloe Beach. Last year, more than 200,000 people visited this event, and I'm pretty sure it will only get bigger with time. Don't miss it.

Free Flicks For Kids
Saturdays 5.30-7pm
Northbridge Piazza, cnr Lake & James Sts, Northbridge

The weather will be cooling down soon and nexth month it would probably be too cold to be sitting outdoor for an evening of family movie. So make use of this last month of warm Saturday evening movies before autumn chill comes.

  • 11 Mar - Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012, PG)

Cambridge Street Festival

Town of Cambridge is inviting us to visit their namesake, Cambridge Street, on this Saturday in March for a party. There will be live music, circus performers, street theatre, food and market pop-up stalls, and kids entertainment/ rides. It promises to be an afternoon of fun for the whole family.

Splashfest

This is a tribute to the end of summer. You can make this the last free event of this summer you visit with your kids. Make sure they come in their swimmers, ready for the water rides and games. And don't forget the towels, folks.

UWA Information Evening
22 Mar, 5.30-8pm
Tattersall Lecture Theatre, UWA Campus, Crawley

How old are your kids? If they're in senior high school, then it's really time to start considering their options after high school. UWA is holding their information evening for parents so you can find out about entry requirements and other activities for your kids' age group. They divide the evening into two groups depending on your kids' school year:
  • 5.30pm: Year 10 and 11 Course Information Evening

  • 7pm: Year 12 Course Information Evening

Food Truck Rumble
Sun, 26 Mar, 11am-8pm
Perth Cultural Centre

The Food Truck Rumble is not just about some food trucks parked together in one place, but more than that, the organiser also provides entertainments including music, culture, and art. We have to eat every day, so why not combine the obligation with some fun at this event.
