The South Australian Museum is one of the most visited museums in the nation. It has been a place where everyone can learn, grow and engage with our natural and cultural heritage. Here are some free activities and exhibitions for you and your family to consider over the month of September 2019.

**1. Minaaka Apinhanga: Through Many Eyes
**
Open daily until the 22nd, this exhibition goes into the world of the Adnyamathanha people of the Flinders Ranges. It is an exploration of history, family and identity. Historical photographs which represent family and country are a portal into the past and allow people the opportunity for continuous reflection.

**2. Her Story: Inspiring Women in Science
**
Women have contributed significantly to science throughout history. This series now celebrates Rebecca Richards, an Adnyamathanha and Barngarla Aboriginal woman from the Northern Flinders Ranges who is currently studying a PhD in Anthropology.

**3. Young Explorers September: In the dark, dark night
**
This is an educational program for kids aged 3 to 5 exploring what goes bump in the night. There are multiple dates and times to choose from, however, bookings are essential and can be made via their website .
