Every year the Law Institute of Victoria invites the public to attend a variety of events across Melbourne.

Entertainment, discussion and debates, information, tours and exhibitions are held during one week of May only.

This is your chance to ask those niggling legal questions from a trained professional at one of the free Legal Health Check Pop-Up centers being held across Melbourne.

Or take a free underground tour of the secret dungeon beneath the Supreme Court of Victoria .

For about $30 the Law Institute will entertain you on a guided tour of the Chinatown Murders or perhaps you would prefer the Carlton Murders? What about a ghost tour in the Geelong Gaol?

For those more interested in the Discussions and Debates, there are mock trials, discussions about the environment in law, youth law, and even a mock coronial inquest to name a few.

Some events are free, some average around $20-$30 but check the website for a complete list.
