1. Tree Planting Day at Glen Regent Reserve

Sunday 17th May, 9am - 11.30am
Glen Regent Reserve, Casula

Put on by the Liverpool City Council, a tree planting day is to be held at the Glen Regent Reserve, located next to the spacious Leacock Regional Park. Help out with the tree planting, meet some other conservation-minded people and enjoy the free BBQ lunch being put on for all participants.

2. Campbelltown Arts Centre NAISDA Indigenous Dance Project

Saturday 9 May, 2pm & 6pm
Campbelltown Arts Centre, Campbelltown

These two performances are the result of a workshop bringing together developing artists from the NAISDA Dance College and young indigenous dancers from the Campbelltown area.

3. Art Exhibition Colour Restraint

Throughout May until the 24th
Campbelltown Arts Centre, Campbelltown

Running here from the 21st of March, it will go until May 24th. The 'Colour Restraint' exhibition showcases a newly commissioned work inspired by illusions, dreams and surrealist themes. Presented along with existing works from Rebecca Beaumann and Brandan Van Hek.

4. Pinterest and Instagram Workshop

Saturday 23rd May, 10am - 12pm
Upstairs at the Picton Library, 42 Menangle Street, Picton

This free workshop will teach how to make the most of these two popular photo sharing social media sites and the differences in features between the two. Learn how to make your photos look attractive using these apps, and how to then share them online.

5. IT and Biscuits

Tuesday 19 May, 11 am - 1 pm
H. J Daley Library, Campbelltown

This is an ongoing program that allows attendees to learn various aspects of using computers and other communication technology. It is held at the various branch libraries in Campbelltown.

A tablet is not only a pill

During May, the topic is 'IPads And Their Apps – How To Use Them' and will be held at the H. J Daley Library, Campbelltown. Sessions are appropriate for anyone interested and have a delightful twist with biscuits served at the session.

6. Nick Earls and H. J Daley Library

Thursday 21st June, 3pm - 4pm
H.J Daley Library, Campbelltown

As part of this years Sydney Writers Festival, popular author Nick Earls will be discussing his latest, and very well received work: 'Analogue Men'. Meet the author and get an opportunity to find out more about the author and his characters behind the scenes.

7. Skate Workshop with Totem Skate School

Saturday 23rd May, 3.30pm - 5pm
Macquarie Fields Skate Park, Victoria Road, Macquarie Fields

There are three advertised sessions left in 2015 for this free skateboarding clinic held at various skate parks in the Campbelltown area. The clinic will be coached by Totem Skateboarding, and while the workshop is appropriate for children, it is open to all ages.

8. Liverpool LIVE at Macquarie Mall

Liverpool LIVE marks a month of fun outdoor family-friendly events being held in Liverpool's Macquarie Mall. The free events include outdoor cinema screenings, live band performances and activities for the kids.

9. Camden Shorts

Friday 22 May, 7pm
Ferguson Gallery, Camden Civic Centre, Camden

Short expressive live performances involving storytelling and theatre, acted out by young people.

10. Thursday Bike Ride

Every Thursday in May at 8:45 am
Meet at the WSCN bike shed (at the back of Fairfield Showground), Prairiewood

A weekly event that will be continuing throughout almost all of 2015. The bike ride is tailored to the needs of the group and can range anywhere from 10km - 30km rides. Participants need to bring their own bikes and helmets, and confirm their attendance prior to the ride.
