Darwin heats up in Spring with a range of enjoyable and free festivals, performances and shows. There is something for everyone, with a symphony, art show, and a floral display. These events are also free, and a great opportunity to spend time with friends and family in lovely Darwin.

Symphony on the Sea: Our Community says Thank You

This event is a chance to say thank you to residents serving in the defence forces. It will be on the 7th of September 2013 from 6.30pm, at Stokes Hill Wharf, Darwin.

Darwin Fridge Festival

This quirky festival involves people and artists who paint, decorate and create art from fridges. There is also music, poetry, and workshops. The event occurs across locations in Darwin from October, and a program will be available from info@darwinfridgefestival.org.au.

Nightcliff Orchid Society Annual Spring Show

This show has displays of orchids grown and flowering in Darwin and the surrounding areas. There is a competition with many categories held in September. The program is available by contacting (04) 3845 6784.
