The Bleach* Festival returns, much bigger and better than before with a program that will amaze all attendees from Friday 7 to Sunday 23 March 2014.
What's fantastic about this event is that there is an abundance of free events suitable for people of all ages. So you can take part in the festivities of this Festival offer without breaking the bank. Awesome.

[SECTION]Art[/SECTION]
Fibro Coast takes a look at the fibro beach house culturally, artistically and architecturally. There are two Fibro Coast projects: The Bleach* Extension and Architecture and Community Exhibition.
The Bleach* Extension showcases installations at different fibro cottages showcasing site specific works in the remaining few places of fibro beach house architecture on the Gold Coast.
On the other hand, visit the Kirra Hill Community & Cultural Centre to take a look at the fantastic Architecture and Community Exhibition curated by architect Philip Follent.
The
Gold Coast Art Festival presents something inspirational, magical and wonderful. Come and see the Stone Song Sculpture Symposium and witness the sculptors' individual styles and skills. This is also an excellent opportunity for you to meet and greet the artists so come along to The Arts Centre Gold Coast.
St Thomas Studio will be displaying Gold Coast's iconic type based signage for
The Golden Sans Project ; the ADCO Amphitheatre at Bond University will showcase a visual exhibition of poetic works for
Bond Music Series - Poetry Gallery ; Dust Temple presents
Word Jam Wisdom which gives all wordsmiths to come and share; and Cafe D'bar will exhibit Paintings by
Seabastion Toast .

All set for some fun? Ready for some laughs? Well,
Live and Loopy will give you just that. Linsey Pollak, the popular Australian musician will create music using the most unusual objects. This innovative musical experience is a must see.
Get ready to witness some of the best break dancing you'll ever see featuring dancers from Skill @ Will in addition to pumping tunes and StreetWise skateboarding workshops at
Bleach on the Road #1 . And
Bleach* on the Road #2 showcases an extravaganza of skating, clinics, pro jams and an awesome show by The Funky Hips.
Craving a musical jam?
Jeremy Marou & Friends will cure those cravings. Bring your instrument as your plus-one to this incredible event of live performance workshops, discussions and, of course, the best jam with exceptional group of artists.
Bond Music Series brings energetic Bustamento to the Gold Coast for the first time. So don't miss out on this amazing performance. In addition, check out the supporting performer, Tyus Arndt.
[SECTION]Theatre[/SECTION]
Prepare yourself for some marvellous mayhem at
Splash! featuring Circa's best team of acrobats performing by the beach. Expect incredible and dangerous feats during this jaw-dropping performance. Just sit back, enjoy the show, and try to stay dry.
Children will fall in love with
Beach Jnr. at Paradise Point . A huge playground awaits for those who love enormous puppet animals, fun adventures, awesome music and amazing acrobatics on Saturday 8 March from 12 noon. Do not miss this event.
Hear the story of a young girl from Gold Coast. Listen to her aspirations, ambitions and family struggles at Readings of
Hotel Beche de Mer at Kirra Hill Community Centre.
And
Trade Winds is not to be missed on Thursday 20 March from 5pm to 9.30pm. Anticipate a fabulous evening of entertainment, music and a super colourful visual performance involving movement and dance.

The Coolangatta Beach is offering a line-up of fabulous flicks for all attendees to enjoy at
Beachside Flicks . Pack your beach chairs on Sunday 9 March and invite your family and friends to come to this unique film fest from 7.15pm. With sand between your toes and ocean breeze in your hair, there's no better way to spend a Sunday evening. See the program below:

The Festival closes out with
The Bleach* BBQ on Sunday 23 March at Palm Beach Parklands. Don't miss out on this enormous beachside BBQ with heaps of water activities, kids' entertainment and inspirational cooking demonstrations. Allow the stalls, bars, wine-tastings and island-style concoction to satisfy your tummy; and relax in a hammock enjoying wonderful tunes throughout the afternoon and evening. This event culminates in a brilliant fireworks display which will light up the Gold Coast skyline in a kaleidoscope of colours.
Eat Street is giving you the opportunity to gather under the Tugun's 88-year-old Moreton Bay Fig with other attendees. Tugun's restaurants and food stalls are designed to make taste buds salivate and stomachs satisfied so come and enjoy the cultural flavours. The relaxed atmosphere, sounds of live music, and roving entertainers all provide the perfect setting to chill out with some neighbours and friends. Bring your children along, too, because the children's zone will have them laughing and giggling all afternoon and evening.
