The National Military Vehicles Museum is a popular school holidays family attraction located at Edinburgh Park in Adelaide's north. Not only does it have a static display of military vehicles from around the world, but it also has an outstanding collection of militaria - uniforms, equipment and accessories used in wartime.
Unlike most other museums in Adelaide the vehicles displayed at the National Military Vehicles Museum are privately owned, although the museum is operated by a not-for-profit organisation. The military vehicles are often made available for charity functions including the Salisbury Christmas pageant.
During the summer school holidays the museum is offering kids under 15 free entry to the museum when accompanied by an adult. The offer is valid is valid for these days in the school holidays:
