I miss those days when a visit to the local zoo or museum, hand-in-hand with Mom, was a matter of immense joy. The wildlife seemed to leap straight out of picture books into living creatures. I am sure everybody has had such moments to which we often return to driven by nostalgia. Fingers curled around mother's stronger and reassuring ones, animal after animal would be recognized, their names remembered and numbers counted. Bedtime stories with anthropomorphic animals, that she read us to sleep, would come alive. Baloo, Bagheera, Uncle Scrooge, Mickey Mouse, Bambi - all would be fondly identified.
With time, a jam-packed study timetable, a hectic office schedule or busy household routine keeps us from venturing out with Mom. Or do we simply avoid such things thinking they are for kids and we are too busy to relish a bite of the enjoyment pie. Nay, one can never be too old for fun. Therefore, this Mother's Day refresh old memories and create new ones. Celebrate the occasion in style by taking Mom out for a day of amusement at one of the following with the "Free Entry for Mum" voucher on 7th and 8th May, 2016. Download voucher here.
