Treat your kids this Easter, for free
Perth's shopping centres put on great events over the school holidays, and Easter 2014 is no exception. From Easter Bunnies to Jedi Warriors here is our pick of the best free fun for kids at a shopping centre near you:

Karrinyup Shopping Centre

Meet the Easter Bunny as he roves around the centre:

Monday 14th April: 11am - 2pm
Tuesday 15th April: 11am - 2pm
Wednesday 16th April: 11am - 2pm
Thursday 17th April: 11am - 2pm
Saturday 19th April: 11am - 2pm

Also on during the Easter holidays is the LEGO Brick zone, which will be set up in the Centre Court just opposite Coffee Club (near the escalators). The zone creates a fun play area for kids to get creative with the colourful building blocks and make some fantastic structures. They will be free play areas in addition to custom LEGO tables.

Wednesday April 23rd 10am - 1pm
Thursday April 24th 10am - 1pm
Saturday April 26th 10am - 1pm

Ocean Keys Shopping Centre

Meet the Easter Bunny


Head down to the newly revamped Ocean Keys Shopping Centre to check out the new shops and food court that are now open. Whilst you are down there, your kids will love all the activities that are on this Easter holiday.

Bunny and Chick Craft
Located just opposite Kmart, kids will love creating their own Easter basket, lantern or puppet in this FREE craft activity. Crafts will be available from 11am - 2pm daily on Monday 14th April - Saturday 19th April.

Whilst you're in the centre, keep a look out for the colourful Easter Bunny who'll be handing out Easter eggs and bunny ear crowns. The Easter Bunny will be visiting on the following days and times:

Thursday 17 April 10am 1pm, 3pm 5pm
Saturday 19 April 10am 3pm

Finally, if that wasn't enough free fun for your kids, check out the Scratch Art station available from Monday 21st - Saturday 26th April where kids are invited to create a colourful design on a bookmark, paper crown, mask, magnet or door hanger as part of the scratch art workshop. This will also be located just opposite Kmart.

Carousel Shopping Centre

At the Carousel Shopping Centre there's a chance for the young and young at heart to get up close and personal with the baby animal farm. Available on the following dates:

Monday 14th April, 10am - 2pm
Tuesday 15th April, 10am -2pm

A $2 donation for your visit is appreciated, which goes to the charity Therapy Focus, WA's leading provider of therapy and support services for children with disabilities, and their families.

The Easter Bunny is also putting in an appearance at Carousel during the following dates and times:

Wednesday 16th April, 11am - 2pm
Thursday 17th April, 11am - 2pm
Saturday 19th April, 11am - 2pm

Whitfords Shopping Centre

Star Wars fans will get a real treat this school holidays when they visit Whifords Shopping Centre. Head to the Jedi Experience at Centre Court and enjoy light sabre training conducted by Jedi Masters after which youngsters can appear in their favourite Star Wars seen courtesy of green screen technology. The Jedi Experience is held from 14th April - 19th April (excluding Good Friday) from 11am - 2pm.

A super special school holiday treat is also planned for Saturday 26th April when balloon artist extraordinaire Aaron Smith is back to create balloon animals and creations for your children. This is bound to be a busy event, so arrive early to avoid disappointment. Aaron will be creating his masterpieces between 9am - 1pm outside of Playworld.
