1-21st:Yarra Valley Chocolaterie Easter Fun, ჻ Yarra Glen: Free hunts will take place on the scenic grounds of the Chocolaterie from Good Friday to Easter Monday at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm, no bookings required. Check out the metre-tall chocolate sculptures, enjoy free chocolate tastings, and even meet the Easter Bunny!
6th: Belgrave South Community Market Easter Extravaganza ჻ Belgrave South: Market, African drum music, Easter egg hunt (11:30am) with Easter bunny appearance, jumping castle, and magician. Vietnamese Street food truck and fair trade coffee truck on site.
13th: The Melbourne Passion Play: Ruffey Lake Creek (Doncaster) provides John the Baptist's River Jordan in The Melbourne Passion Play. One performance only, Sunday 13th April, at 1.30pm. Please note that some scenes may not be suitable for younger viewers.
13th: Beaumaris Baptist Church is hosting a free Community Easter Festival, 11am onwards in the church car park. They will have a jumping castle, face painting, show bags and lots more.

South Melbourne Market Celebrates Easter ჻ South Melbourne. Find the Easter Bunny in the deli aisle on Saturday, 19th April, at 10am. The Easter Bunny will take the first 40 children on an egg hunt! Get an early visit with your floppy-eared friend at the Market on Thursday, 17th, 11am-2pm (no egg hunt).
18th: Good Friday on the Frankston Foreshore: Frankston Minister's Network and City Life Inc. are hosting Frankston's traditional Good Friday Festival, 11am-3pm. There will be live music will by Youth Access Entertainment. The Festival includes a free 'Road to Jerusalem' live performance rolling out at five different locations along the foreshore, followed by interactive children's entertainment (jumping castle, animal farm, Easter craft activities, and games).

19th: Okay, you knew I would do this, didn't you? This one is not technically free free, but it's so close to being free, and it's so good; I can't ignore it or you'd be upset for sure. Easter Cup Day at Caulfield Racecourse. $10 gets an adult racecourse admission (2 free general admission tickets are given for a future race; 13 years and under are free); a $5 donation (see? donation! Kinda' free, right?) per participant to Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation, will get you a bucket (See? The $5 is actually for the bucket, the rest is actually free!), the egg hunt where a promised hundreds of
DIY Easter Bunny pancakes
thousands of eggs will be given away, heaps of entertainment, games, competitions, face painting, and pony rides! Advance booking recommended.
