There are a number of exciting events on over the Easter long weekend in Brisbane this year so you don't need to stay at home watching television. This year Easter starts with Good Friday on the 14th April, Easter Sunday on the 16th April and the day off with Easter Monday on 17th April 2017, so start thinking about booking some extra days off work.

North Brisbane Easter Festival – 15th April Free entry at the West Mitchelton Rugby League Club for a family friendly event including an inflatable soccer field face painting, a bouncy castle, graffiti walk, music performances, a petty zoo, food vendors and an Easter egg hunt.
Picnic in the Park Go for a bushwalk or a picnic at one of the many great parks Brisbane has to offer. If you are near Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha, pop in to see a watercolour exhibition by local artist Nev Logan at the quaint Richard Randall Studio.
