Over two big days, Dell Australia and DB Schenker Tag Team with TechCollect are hosting a FREE e-waste Recycling Day for Sydneysiders.Did you know that 17 million televisions and 37 million computers have been sent to landfill since 2008?Dell has been an advocate for social and environmental sustainability since 2008 and was the first company in Australia to offer free recycling.E-Waste (or electronic waste) is composed of many materials that may be harmful to the environment and if it is not recycled, it often ends up in landfill, which places human health and the environment at risk.To help avoid e-waste ending up as landfill, Dell Australia, DB Schenker, leading provider of integrated logistics services, and not-for-profit, free e-waste collection and recycling service program, TechCollect, are presenting their third annual FREE, community e-waste recycling day.E-Waste is any brand of:Computer, Laptops and TabletsComputer accessories and peripherals (e.g. cables, hard drives, keyboards, mice and web cameras)Printers, faxes, scanners and multi-functional devicesTelevisionsOn the 4th & 5th November 2016, residents and local businesses are invited to drop off their e-waste to two collection facilities - Dell Australia in Frenchs Forest and DB Schenker Homebush Warehouse in Homebush West.As a special bonus, all participants will be eligible to receive a 'mystery reward' which can be redeemed on Dell.com.au!This is a great opportunity to spring clean your office and home, so get together with your co-workers or family on Friday, 4 November 2016 or Saturday, 5 November 2016, from 9am to 3pm and gather all your e-waste items.Drop them off at:Dell Australia, Unit 3, 14 Aquatic Drive, Frenchs Forest, NSW 2086DB Schenker Homebush Warehouse, 350-374 Parramatta Rd, Homebush West NSW 2140And make sure to receive your mystery award!For more information on this special community event, please visit www.dell.com
