Free Dinosaur Dig at Karrinyup

The WA Museum will be hosting a FREE Dinosaur Dig for kids at Karrinyup Shopping Centre from the 13th to the 21st of January for the School Holidays.

The WA Museum has set up what it calls a Play-laeontology Zone. Kids who take part in this fun activity will be given their own dig kit and will be taught all about dinosaurs and how palaeontologists work.

WA Museum Staff will teach kids how fossils are made and how to use the right tools to gently chip away and unearth fossils hidden in clay.

Children who participate in the Dinosaur Dig will be able to take home their very own dinosaur tooth to show all of their friends.

The Dinosaur Dig is being held on the Ground Floor of Karrinyup Shopping Centre near the Food Court and Cotton On.

Sessions are being held 10am to 3pm daily and from 11am to 3pm on Sundays.
