Folded Christmas Angel

Christmas is just around the corner and for those of us who are fed up with the brash commercialism there are some great recycling ideas for reusing old books to make decorations.

Booking is essential as classes are limited. Phone Meryll on 9762 0862 to book ASAP.

Folded Paper Craft

Joy is a Hills paper artist who builds sculptures and creates designs from old paper and books. Her large collage works have been on display at Birregurra Gallery in Tecoma and her expertise with paper is amazing.

These classes are part of Mountains of Books Bookfair and there will be 12 or so local booksellers with thousands of books for sale in the adjoining hall. There is plenty of parking, free entry, wheelchair access and great food cafe as well.

The Ferny Creek Recreation Hall is over 100 years old and is a local landmark with an amazing ceiling of pressed straw.
