The Hispanic Latin American community celebrates it 35th Fiesta on 16th and 17th November. Johnston Street, Fitzroy will come alive with thousands of enthusiasts who visit this annual event. The good news is you get to learn a dance or two. From Salsa to Samba, Reggaeton, Bachata, Zumba, Tango, you just have to name it. 1st Friday Dance Club
Every month learn a new dance genre. City of Melbourne presents free two hour dance session on the 1st Friday, next session coming on 6th December. Regardless of age, just get on the dance floor at Queensbridge Square, 6 to 8 pm. An experience you would surely look forward to every month. For more information visit the website
Learn the most sensuous dance form with untold health benefits from professional dancer. 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, last session being December 12th. Buenos Aires comes straight to Fed Square. Get captivated with this centuries old dance form, Tango, on 29th November and 13th December, St. Paul's court, 5.30 to 7 pm. This simple dance will be a great stress buster after a busy week.
