Brush up on your dance moves with these free classes
The highlight of the year's Active Parks Program are the free dance classes at South Bank. Learn or brush up on a range of different dance styles, including jive, hip hop, swing and hula dancing. All classes are free, no booking required and they run from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the South Bank Piazza.
Every year they include different styles of dance. Over the years they have taught things like the foxtrot, the waltz and of course salsa. This year, the emphasis is about dancing for fitness but they also include jive and swing which are very exciting dance styles for partners.
