Free Concerts at St Georges Cathedral

Free music in cathedral setting
Free concerts have returned to St Geoges Cathedral, commencing every second Wednesday from 17 May.

The concert series is called "Concerts at One" because the series starts at 1.00pm and lasts for 45 minutes. They are aimed at city workers and shoppers, seniors or tourists on an outing through Perth.

At the same time these concerts provide an opportunity for talented students to perform in a unique setting to an appreciative audience.

The next concert is on Wednesday 17 May, showcasing Christ Church Grammar School.

Then on 7 June, will be pianists from Yoon Sen Lee Music School.

On 21 June, are students from John XXIII College.

On 5 July Michael Lukin, the assistant organist at St Georges Cathedral will be playing.

On 19 July, pianists from Yoon Sen Lee Music School are performing.

On 2 August, vocal students from the School of Music UWA will be performing.

On 16 August, The Presbyterian Ladies College have their opportunity to perform.

On 30 August, The Prendiville Catholic College will be in attendance.

On 6 September vocal students from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts will be present.

The final concert on 20 September, has the UWA Music Students Society in attendance.

Visitors are welcome to bring their own lunch to the concerts. No prior booking is needed.
