Celebrates 30th Anniversary of Suntory Hall
In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Singapore-Japan diplomatic relations and the Suntory Hall's 30th Anniversary, Suntory Hall Chamber Music Academy & Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music Concert presents concerts this weekend.

The programme highlights works of famous composers like Beethoven's Trio Op. 11 and Dvořák's String Quintet Op. 77. The works of a Japanese composer, Toru Takemitsu, through Quatrain II (1977) and Le Son Calligraphie (1960) together with French composer Ernest Chausson's romantic Concerto for Piano, Violin and String Quartet are also included in the programme.

Sing along to the beautiful and nostalgic tune of Those years 那些年 and Mandarin hits from Mayday 五月天 with Novo Winds. The non-profit community band will also play selected songs from the famous Grease.

People's Association Youth Chinese Orchestra (PAYCO) will celebrate Singapore's multi-cultural identity through Fantasy Garden 2016 (梦幻花园2016). The programme include classic Chinese melodies, local folk songs Di Tanjong Katong and Munneru Valiba, and a popular song Mambo No. 5.
