St Jude's Anglican Church, Brighton are offering free community meals to the general public every Friday between 11.30am-1.30pm (donations welcome). With a team of 40 volunteers and the support of Anglicare SA, St Jude's has plenty to offer!
The main purpose of the community meal is to provide the community with nutritious meals and social support - it's a great service for those experiencing food insecurity and/or isolation.
St Jude's offers a number of community initiatives, such as the Community Pantry which aims to offer emergency food and toiletry supplies for anyone in need. The bright yellow Community Pantry is located on the side of Grundy Hall at St Jude's Brighton and is freely accessible for those in need or those who want to make donations of non-perishable food and/or toiletries.
