Free Come-and-Try Paddling Sessions

On Thursday the 9th of June 2022, you are invited to join Paddle SA for a free come-and-try paddling session at Happy Valley reservoir reserve. The hour-long session will focus on safety as well as exploring the open waters from a kayak. Qualified kayaking instructors will be your guide during the experience. All you need is enclosed footwear, activewear, windproof jacket and a wide-brim hat. You do not need to know how to paddle.

There will be three sessions to choose from - 10:30am, 12pm or 1:30pm. You'll also have a choice of either a single or a double kayak. Bookings are essential and can be made online via their website . Previous dates have sold out, so do be quick to book if you're interested. Happy Valley reservoir reserve is accessible via Chandlers Hill Road with onsite parking available close to the kayak launch area.
