Enjoy a FREE classic film screening at the Sydney Mechanics School of Arts (SMSA) on Thursday 8th September 2016. To be held in their Mitchell Theatre, located at the schools premises on Level 1, 280 Pitt St from 6pm - 8.15pm, this film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Incendies will transfix you as it follows the intriguing story of Canadian twins Jeanne and Simon who, following the death of their mother, are given 3 letters to be delivered. Join them on their journey to fulfil their Mother's last wish as the twins travel to the Middle East to deliver the letters and to unravel the truth about her mysterious past.

This French/Arabic film will have English subtitles and will be introduced and given context by guest speaker Peter Rainey, an SMSA member and cinema enthusiast and is free and open to the public. For further information please visit the website
