With the magic of Christmas quickly creeping up on us, lets have a look at the list of Christmas sparkle events that Brisbane is playing host to his year, from November, through to January.
A couple of really special nights include the kicking off on 29th of November at 6.30pm is the Lighting of the Brisbane City Christmas Tree at King George Square. Come along and join Brisbane's Lord Mayor Graham Quirk, see Santa, and watch the Christmas lights sparkle in this annual tradition. While you will get to see the twinkling of the lights, you will also share in the joy of some carol singing. (More information on this in the list below)
Another special night and for the very first time ever on the 13th December at 6.30pm, the Gold Lotto City Hall Light Spectacular will bring this amazing building to life with magical lights and moments that share in the spirit of Christmas.
Now, let us take a look at the list, to see the run-down for the rest of Brissie's free and fun Christmas events; 8 November to 24 December - Santaland @ Brisbane Myer Centre. Your kids will love you if you take them to ride the locomotive train, have their photo taken and of course visit Santa, and perhaps they might just like to send a letter to the North Pole via post or email.
Hear the singing sounds of Silent Night or Jingle Bell Rock on various street corners throughout Brisbane in the mornings at 8.30am and 9am. What a lovely way for little angels to bring joy to your mornings.
