Preston Market is jumping on the bandwagon of festive fun by running free Christmas activities between Sunday 2 December to Sunday 23 December 2018 at 2/30A The Centreway, Preston in the lead up to Christmas.
Gourmet Kids Cooking Classes will be running on 2, 16 & 23 December from 10am to 2pm on each day at the Market. Kids will be knee deep in dough learning how to make their very own gingerbread man or edible Christmas tree. No bookings required.
Mrs Claus Story Time will run on Friday 14 and Sunday 16 December. Located in the Fruit and Veg area, you're bound to hear her singing carols, telling Christmas tales and playing games from 10.30am-1.30pm. Watch out, coz she's helping Santa with checking out who's naughty and nice!
Also on Sunday 16 December, you'll have The Salvation Army Brass Band putting you in the festive mood with some great Christmas tunes from 11am to 2pm. Come 12.15-2pm, the Arcapella Choir will be spreading Christmas cheer with their wonderful voices as they rove around the market singing Christmas carols.
It's time to decorate the Gingerbread man Christmas style on Sunday 16 and Sunday 23 December 2018 from 10am to 2pm. However, if you're after Santa Photos with the man himself, Wed 19 to Sun 23 December are the days for you. Located in the fruit and veg area, bring your camera and catch Santa for a selfie from 10am to 12pm. He'll be roving around the market with a special Christmas treat from 12.15pm to 2pm. Sounds like there's going to be lots of fun going on for the kids.
