In addition to exhibitions, the Linden Centre for Contemporary Arts located in the heart of St Kilda is also hosting 2 festive activities for families this December. The activities are suitable for ages 5 years and up and bookings are essential.
* 19 Dec, 4.30pm - 6.30pm - The contemporary public art gallery will be celebrating Christmas in advance with FREE craft making sessions for kids. They will learn how to make Christmas ornaments and decorations to take home. There will also be food and drinks in the form of a sausage sizzle, sweet treats from Les Crepes de Marion, coffee and soft drinks from The Teeny Rabbit Coffee Van and a bar in the gallery. * 23 Dec, 10am - 12pm - Staff from Linden Centre for Contemporary Arts will head over to South Melbourne Market to teach children the art of making crafty Christmas ornaments and decorations. Four 30 minute sessions starting from 10am, 10.30am, 11am and 11.30am willl be conducted in the LG Kitchen on Cecil Street.
