Artcommune Gallery is hosting an exhibition showcasing the works of master calligrapher Tsue Ta Dee and wood artist Cheh Kai Hon. There are around 30 wood engravings on exhibit and they are the result of 3 to 4 years of Cheh's efforts based on series of expressive works by Tsue.
Originally from Beijing, Tsue was considered a master calligrapher among the pioneer generation of Chinese artists in Southeast Asia. Cheh was a calligraphy student of Tsue and a veteran wood artist with shows in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
