Astronaut Stories 3 October, 6.30pm - 9pm
As Elon Musk prepares us for blastoff to Mars, hear about life in outer space from Christer Fuglesang, a Swedish astronaut. Christer spent 26 days on the International Space Station and over 31 hours on spacewalks. Hear about real-life experiences in space at the GHD Auditorium in the University of Queensland. Taste of Egypt Fete 7 October, 10am - 12pm
Egypt, home of the pyramids and Tutankamun, is celebrated at the Virgin Mary Coptic Orthodox Church on 2 Hamish St, Calamvale. Isuzu Queensland Golf Open 26 - 29 October
Line up for tee off at the Brisbane Golf Club on Tennyson Memorial Avenue, Yeerongpilly. This golf tournament features a competitive combination of professional and amateur golfers, with previous events seeing Greg Norman and Jason Day compete. Open Mic Night 13, 27 October, 7pm - 10pm

Tee off for a golf tournament (by Isuzu Queensland Open)


Live Kirtan Fridays, 6pm to 8pm
