No need to panic, learn easy repairs
Want to get a little more serious about cycling? Before you spend huge amounts of money on a bike, why not learn the basics of bicycle maintenance?
The local cycling group, Bike Marrickville, will be demonstrating how to fix a puncture, lubricate the chain and adjust the brakes this Saturday, 13th June from 1pm until 3pm in the Marrickville Library Secret Garden.
It's hands on, so bring along your bike and any repair equipment you have. Great activity for teens too, so make it a family event. You never know, you may meet some like minded cyclists to ride with.
It is free, but let them know you're coming - reserve your place on 9335 2173 or book online .
It's easy once you know how, so learn to look after your bike with confidence. You'll never get caught out again!
