Celebrate Australia Day 2015 at Sydney Olympic Park
Join the nation in celebrating Australia Day as, no matter where you live, there will be a party near you. Cathy Freeman Park, a short walk from Olympic Park Station, will be hosting this years Australia Day celebration with a great day full of FREE fun for the whole family.
Starting at 12 noon, and ending with a bang at 8.50pm with a spectacular fireworks display, this years program will pack a punch. Apart from a wide variety of international food stalls operating from noon, there will be all the kids favourite rides, face painting, craft workshops and a community bazaar. There will be live entertainment for young and old throughout the event including roving performers and Frank Lakoudis from "The Voice" will be there to rock your socks off.

Important transport information Please note that public transport is recommended with extra services running on the day. There will also be free shuttle buses operating to and from Auburn and Lidcombe train stations. The Park will be very busy that night due to AFC Asian Cup. If driving, plan your trip and make sure you pre-book your parking in advance.
