Make some room on the broom and fly down to see Adelaide City Libraries pop-up stall in
Rundle Mall under the Gawler Place Canopy for a magical nature craft activity on
Tuesday 3 October 2023.
Starting at 1 pm to 2 pm, the event will begin with stories and spells and after that, you can create your very own magic wand. Book

Magical Garden Craft for Kids

In this 2.5 hour nature art workshop, children will have the opportunity to decorate a terracotta pot for their own special native plant. You will also have the opportunity to create and decorate miniature magical air-dry clay sculptures such as fairies, elves, mushrooms and gnomes to accompany your native pot plant.

Lantern Making Workshop

Sally Heinrich for the Lantern Making Workshop** and celebrate The Mid-Autumn Festival, Zhong Qiu Jie. You will make your own lantern, using Australian native plants as inspiration.
In her picture book
The Most Beautiful Lantern, Sally Heinrich traces Mei-Ling’s search for the most beautiful lantern to carry in the lantern parade at her school. Along the way, Mei-Ling learns about some of the legends and traditions behind the festival and the way it is celebrated today.
