Looking for something different to do with the kids these January school holidays that is a little bit different? Head down to Bayside Shopping Centre in Frankston for Storyland.
From event website
Alice in Wondersand is a magical exhibition with a difference, being an exhibition completed in sand and open for all to see. As an extension of the Sand Sculpting exhibition on the Frankston Waterfront, there will be one sand sculpture working on scenes from the Mad Hatter's Tea Party (level 1, outside Bardot), Tweedledum and Tweedledee (ground floor near the food court), and The Queen of Hearts (outside Woolworths). This will take place between the 10th till the 18th January 2014.
Grab an activity sheet from the Customer Service Desk on the ground floor (near Sunglasses Hut) prior to following the magical white rabbit to the various scenes. Don't forget to drop your sheet back at the completion for your chance to win a Wii U (see competition terms and conditions).
On Friday 17th and the 24th January there will be free sand activities from 10am. Children will be able to try their hand at Sand Art in these activities. Each child who participated in the sand activity workshops will receive a free pass to the Sand Sculpting exhibition on the Frankston Waterfront. Bookings are required for the various sessions each hour and should be done online as spaces are limited for each session.
