Time to put the gadgets away and head outdoors for some fantastic school holiday fun.
Between Monday 7 and Thursday 17 April, the Active Kids School Holiday Park Sessions will run between 8.30am and 9.30 at various locations in the Moreton Bay region. These sessions not only encourage kids to get outside and play, but also are completely free with no prior bookings needed. How good is that? Just turn up and have some fun.
There are various sports such as golf, soccer and rugby league available. So come and learn some mad golfing skills as you rip, roll and chip; improve your soccer techniques with awesome activities led by coaches from the Football Federation Australia; and the NRL rugby league clinic will be excellent for those who are keen on brushing up their techniques in try scoring and kicking.
The Great Obstacle Adventures are fantastic for those who like a bit of friendly competition while having a blast. Learn to work in a team as you challenge yourself in a whole heap of exciting games.
If you love games then Beach Games is perfect for you because you'll have a great time in various team beach games. Plus come and play with balls, hoops, bean bags, parachutes at Ball Sports Adventure. Expect lots of catching, kicking, throwing and chasing as well as playing lots of cool games and sports.
Gymnastics Adventure is a fabulous session for building confidence, social and gross motor skills. So come along and cartwheel, bounce and roll your way around gymnastic equipment. It'll be lots of fun, I promise.
And Kidzone is a wonderful session that promotes physical activity and fitness in children. Kids will learn to improve their motor skills, coordination and balance with various activities and games.
Remember all sessions are free, no bookings are required, and run at various venues in the Moreton Bay region by qualified and experienced staff. Kids between the ages of 3 and 12 will have so much fun in a non-competitive environment. Just make sure your kids wear enclosed shoes, comfortable clothing and a hat. And don't forget to bring sunscreen and a drink bottle.
