A new cafe recently opened in Albany and already has become very popular.

on York Street provides a contemporary menu offering a range of steaks, Turkish breads with various toppings and salad choices.

I chose the chicken and roasted pumpkin, served on toasted Turkish bread with a side salad.

My mother chose the vegetarian, which was roasted pumpkin and grilled eggplant and sun-dried tomatoes on toasted Turkish bread with a side salad.

The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. As soon as we sat down we were offered a jug of water.

Magazines and the daily newspaper are available to read.

The outdoor gazebo seating area is protected by plastic sheets to keep any winds out.

Frederick's even has a selection of cold organic drinks to choose from, including my favourite - ginger beer. They also serve coffee.
