Cosy and inviting interior
Located on Majors Bay Road, the restaurant precinct of Concord, is a relatively new kid on the block.
Fratelli & Co. is run by local brothers Rob and Dan Galati, and together they deliver a laid back Italian eatery with pretty much all the usual suspects, plus a few wildcards thrown in via the specials board. The good thing is, they do it well.

Some great choices on the specials board
The décor of this split level restaurant is warm and inviting, offering a nice mix of quiet nooks, intimate corners and larger spaces. There are booths by the window, stools by the bar, a fire place, stained glass and vintage style mirrors. Even a hand painted Sophia Loren adorns one wall.

Their Pizza is really good too, try the one metre or half metre on Mondays, regular sizes other days
Open for
dinner 7 nights from 5pm and
lunches Friday to Sunday, from 12pm, its a place definitely worth trying and, after our second visit, we are still keen to return.

Mixed Olives with their home made woodfired bread and extra virgin oil, the bread was delish
One of their most popular dishes is their signature Antipasto
della Casa in
half metre or
one metre at
$59 &
$110. Chock full of pretty much everything from prosciutto, salami, cheeses, arancini, zucchini flowers, cozze, meatballs, calamari, prawns, olives and more, its a great dish to share with up to 8 people and it is obvious a lot of love goes into the prep and it's easy to see why its so popular.

Their VERY POPULAR Antipasto share platter, a lot of work goes into this beauty.
If you want to continue the sharing theme, they also do a
Tris di Pasta platter of
three of their pasta dishes off their menu at
$59. We tried and it and it was awesome. The taste and texture of the home made pasta reminded me of my mum's home made pasta, the gnocchi were big but delightfully light and fluffy, the pumpkin ravioli large and delicious and I couldn't get enough of the tagliolini with prawns.

The delicious pasta platter of gnocchi, pumpkin ravioli and tagliolini with prawns.
If you are after something sweet, there is a great selection of desserts including
Nutella Gnocchi,
Tiramisu, and one of my favourites,
Mille Foglie, just to name a few. The wine list includes some nice Italian wines to choose from as well.

Tagliata di Manzo
The
Kids Menu features pasta, calamari and schnitzel choices at $14-$16 or you can choose any kids meal, drink and dessert for $22.

Grilled Barramundi with Sicilian caponata
