Fri 14 Aug 2020 - Sun 16 Aug 2020

Only a few days to go and Maryborough in Queensland will be welcoming visitors from everywhere to visit the 2020 Fraser Coast Expo, which will be held at the Maryborough Showgrounds from 14 to 16 August.

Due to COVID Safe practices, this year's event will be a little different in that tickets are only available online, however, do not be deterred by that as the huge range of exhibits will far outway the online ticket purchase. For those people who may be a little worried, please note this event has an approved COVID Safe Event Plan, where all attending will be asked to follow the rules to keep Queensland Safe. You can always wear a mask if you prefer.

Tickets cost $12.00 for an Adult, $10.00 for Concession Holders and children under 16 years are free. You can even win your ticket by joining the Fraser Coast Expo Newsletter Club. Each day will commence at 8.30am with Friday & Sunday concluding at 4.30pm and Saturday 5.00pm. So, this will give you plenty of time to have those discussions with the exhibitors to gain all the information you need to learn before committing to a purchase or gain more knowledge on what you already have purchased.

Over one hundred companies will be exhibiting their wares – caravans, camper trailers, camp accessories, boats, outdoor gear, vehicle accessories, cooking demos, homewares, security, fishing and casting demos, gardening, builders and bedding. An extensive list of exhibitors can be read here . If you wish to be an exhibitor entry details and application can be filled out on the website . Now more and more people opting for a nomadic lifestyle for holidays or for what they want to in retirement, this expo is has come at an opportune time to purchase a new caravan or camper trailer and see Queensland first.

Do not forget to check out Dave Moss or Mossy with his daily fishing and casting demonstrations in his ten-metre long fishing tank. He delivers an entertaining show where he engages both kids and adults in tricks of the trade in fishing. Plus, you may also have an opportunity to win some of the great prizes on offer.

Ron Wilson, also known as Kingbrown will cook up a storm when he shows you how to get the most out of the camp oven. Having learned from old drovers and shearers cooks, Kingbrown is here this year to give you some of those tips, so you too can make an outback special when you travel.

To make your day safe, there will be plenty of hand sanitisation stations and hand washing stations available within the event precinct. Please remember the social distancing of one-point-five metres must always be adhered to, and for those who may forget when catching up with friends and family, social distancing ambassadors will be employed to monitor distancing at exhibitor sites and walkways. Maintaining a healthy state and its people is of utmost importance in these unusual times.

For more information on this event, please visit the 2020 Fraser Coast Expo Website or Facebook pages. There is plenty of parking on-site for small and large vehicles.
