Classic dining at Frappelli's Tamborine Mountain
On the higher end of Long Street Eagle Heights, Tamborine you will find "Frappelli's Restaurant Café". Open 7 days a week from 8.30am patrons can indulge in a scrumptious breakfast giving them stamina to tackle the shops.
Dining on the Mountain - Frappelli's Restaurant Cafe
Although the day I was there, I didn't have breakfast but did indeed pop in for lunch. On that day homemade Potato & Leek or Pumpkin Soup was on the menu. It was a hard decision; however in this instance I decided to go with the Seafood Basket which was surprisingly different in the Chef's presentation from the usual pub meal. Phone order and takeaways are also available.
Items such as cakes, pies, scones and slices are baked fresh each day and Frappelli's also cater for gluten free and vegan appetites. You may like their fresh juices or smoothies along with Barista brewed expresso and premium teas.
Alfresco style dining is available on the lawn, however, there are also tables inside the Café if it is windy or that you prefer indoors. It's always a good sign when you see most of the tables occupied, as was the case around 9.00am on the morning I arrived. The inside dining area was very cosy and catered well for larger groups or private parties. Each table in the inside dining area was decorated with a small flower arrangement, of which the flower was made very cleverly from paper and canvas paintings were hung on the walls. An oil heater was also available for the cooler months.
