Frankston is really packing on the entertainment at their Christmas Festival on Saturday 30 November 2024 from 4.30-9.30pm at the Frankston City Centre, 30 Davey Street, Frankston. Entry is free! Melbourne's longest-running Christmas event returns with a few new additions to make it even bigger and better than ever. There'll be a new European Christmas Village Precinct, a Looney Tunes Christmas Extravaganza Live Stage Show, and an Ugly Christmas Sweater Photo Shoot complete with costumes, props and all. To make the Christmas Festival Legit, there'll be the official Christmas Parade and Santa's house; a Little Beauty Christmas Twilight Market; Christmas Carnival with rides and amusements, and everyone's favourite tree lighting and Fireworks - plus so much more. Why not join the Festival Fan Club so as not to miss out on all the updates. Gather your mates, tag your friends on the event page , and head out for some festive fun.

Activities galore, the kids are going to love the Christmas Crown Making; Christmas Ornament Making; Face Painting; Melbourne Puppet Kerfuffle; Christmas Craft; Reptile Encounters; Christmas Storytime; Circus Play; The Fun Bus; Glitter Gypsy Bar; Kidz Party Wheelz; Scouts Climbing and Hatchet Throwing and many more other activities. Check out the Activities List here , complete with timeframes and venues, so you don't miss out. Events are held at the Frankston Arts Centre's Library, Foyer, and Theatre. The Library Forecourt will also have some activities running. Don't forget to write and send your letter to Santa while you're there. Library staff will be on hand to share all the amazing free services the Library offers - so why not sign up for a Library Membership while you're there on the night, you'll be entered into a draw for a wonderful holiday book hamper.

For all you Looney Tunes Fans, look forward to the live stage show and join Bugs, Tweety and Sylvester as they help the host put on an all-singing, all-dancing Christmas show, featuring pop hits and Christmas favourites. Show times are 5pm; 6pm; 7pm; and 8pm. Performances run for approximately 20-25 minutes and it's free. Plus you get the chance to meet the one and only, Daffy Duck! Daffy will be running Meet and Greet Sessions in the Arts Centre Foyer at 4.30pm; 5.30pm; 6.30pm; and 7.30pm.

To be better prepared for the Ugly Christmas Sweater Photo Shoot head to Awkward Portraits - creator of intentionally daggy portraits, inspired by the owner's Canadian heritage and late 80's upbringing. All you need are your photo buddies. They have the jumpers and props ready to use. If you have your own daggy Christmas attire, feel welcome to wear that too. This free event will be at the Frankston Arts Centre from 4.30 to 9pm on the day, so get out there and get creative being your daggiest!
