It's that time of year again, when we pamper and parade our precious pooches alongside plenty of other furry, four-legged friends at the festive Pet's Day Out in Frankston. It's paws down at Ballam Park on Sunday 8th October 2017, and some may say it's like Christmas Day for dogs.

Anything and everything a pet or puppy lover could need will be represented. But this event is not meant to be exclusively for dogs. Plenty of other animals will be represented, so don't despair if you don't have a fur baby or if your pet has scales or fins. Everyone is welcome to come along to the Pets' Day Out for some animal-themed fun.

Pets' Day out includes heaps of live entertainment, and you can be part of the show. Enter your pet in the pet parade and let them show off how cute they are. There will be loads of free activities and giveaways and you can learn more about responsible pet ownership. Find out about the latest and greatest in training techniques and grooming, and you can even meet the charities working tirelessly to pair homeless pets with new forever homes. Maybe you'll find somebody to take home and love.

The Pets' Day out is being held on Sunday 8th October 2017 from 10am to 3pm at Ballam Park, 260 Cranbourne Road, Karingal (Frankston). There is limited onsite parking, then surrounding street parking as well as at The Hub shopping centre, walking distance away. The park is also easily accessible by public transport. There are onsite toilets, and Ballam Park is pram and wheelchair friendly.

Entry to the Pets' Day Out is free.
