Frankston Beach

Published August 28th 2011
A view of Frankston Beach and pier on a beautiful winter evening. The iconic pier stretches far into the ocean, attracting fishing-enthusiasts and hikers. It is a rather calm beach, ideal for swimming, kite surfing and sun bathing. There are good restaurants in the vicinity. It is roughly 40 km north-west from the city centre, but well worth the drive. Enjoy a carefree walk along the beach to bask in nature’s balmy splendour.
