Hot Arts for Cool Kids is always a popular school holiday activity at the Frankston Arts Centre. Run over various days, children can let their imagination run wild creating, making, sewing, constructing and painting with recycled materials and more.

This year's theme is Jungle Safari and is suitable for ages 4 to 12.

Each session is 2.5 hours and will run on Monday 6th July, Tuesday 7th July, Thursday 9th July and Friday 10th July from 10am to 12.30pm.

Ticket prices are $15 for the first child, then $10 for each subsequent child. All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult throughout the session.

Stripey the Emu Chick: Suitable for ages 3-8 years.
"Imagine having to keep track of 30 small emu chicks, who are running here, there and everywhere? Well that's what Crikey, their emu dad must do and when one of them goes missing, that's when all the fun begins.

Along the way in their search for Stripey they encounter an array of loveable Aussie characters, such as Fluster the Corella, Bluey the Kanga, Sox's the Joey, Snap, Flatfoot, Strewth and Shuffle the Echidna.

Stripey is a cracking adventure, based on a simple story adapted for the stage in a well-known, highly skilled and foot-tapping style associated with other Garry Ginivan Attractions such as Possum Magic, Wombat Stew and My Grandmother Lived in Gooligulch."

Shows are playing Wednesday 8th July at 6pm, and Thursday 9th July at 10.30am.

Tickets are $20, Family (4) $75.

Show merchandise will be available for sale at the Box Office.
