An international tour. An Olympic opening ceremony performance. Various festivals all over the world. New heavier band 'Mongol Horde.' Yes, 2012 has already been a big year for Mr Frank Turner, and it's about to get even bigger, as come November, he will be embarking on yet another massive tour, stopping at 29 locations across the UK and Ireland. Excited? I am.
Frank's first album 'Sleep is for the Week' debuted in January 2007, and since then he has released 3 more unique studio album. I think it's safe to say that the Winchester singer/song writer has not taken break from keeping the folk-punk rock genre alive, bringing in a wide and dedicated fan base, it's not often you go to a gig and see 17 year old girls moshing in the same crowd at 45 year old men. Let's hope Frank's musical genius doesn't cease anytime soon. Songs to listen out for would be:I Still Believe, Reasons Not To Be An Idiot, and Once We Were Anarchists.
