Let yourself be spellbound - two shows only

See one of Australia's classiest performers and most talented young songwriters in her latest show 'Practical Magic'.

Frances returns to Foundry616 on the back of a successful 12 months including a sold-out 8 show east coast tour, a fruitful songwriting trip to Nashville and also supporting international artists Dionne Warwick and also Gregory Porter. Frances is currently part way through recording her second studio album with ARIA-Award winning Melbourne producer and recent Order of Australia recipient Chong Lim.

"Frances has a wonderful feeling for jazz and blues standards but what makes her a real stand-out are her original songs and her unique style." James Morrison.

"Australia's rising star of jazz, blues and ballads." Fine Music 102.5 FM

Frances captivates her audiences with a combination of her genuinely warm stage presence together with a voice and style that are uniquely her own. When she performs her own swinging tunes, beautiful ballads or smokey blues, they merge seamlessly with the timeless classics she interprets.

'Practical Magic' takes its title from Frances' whimsical original tune of the same name. In addition to Frances on piano and vocals, the all-star line-up for the show includes some of Australia's finest musicians.

Carl Dewhurst: Guitars

Brett Hirst: Double and electric bass

Tim Geldens: Drums

Karl Laskowski: Saxophone

Ray Cassar: Trumpet and fluegelhorn

Borbala 'Bobo' Bodonyi: Backing vocals
