Amazing cafe latte with sour cherry and almond bread
If you find yourself in need for an alternative place to drink a quality brew, go to trendy Darlinghurst and you will find it. Fragrance Coffee Lab is a corner based cafe. It is small and arty. Definitely an art deco style cafe. You would be forgiven for thinking that you have stepped into a chic, retro living room in a friends terrace home or studio apartment nearby.

How funny...alas it can be true though...
Fragrance Coffee Lab definitely boasts that homely, cosy feeling. A place you would want to knit or have a cat cuddled up on your lap purring away. In terms of the latter, you would want a cat that has a thick, furry coat.

Cool, homely ambience near the coffee machine
The cakes take you away the first time round. For something a little bit different, I opted for the sour cherry and almond bread. They heated it up for me. I passed on the butter. So divine, I shared some of my bread with the person I was hanging out with. So filling, and this was even lunchtime having not eaten much earlier in the day. You know, so much to do, so many people to see. That's fast paced Sydney for you, as you probably know.

Latte love...
Looking to my right is the barista making the magic happen. Being a coffee lab, I was quite curious - of course, I had to have some coffee. So I went for a cafe latte. The best six bucks I have spent on coffee and cake since living in Sydney on a full-time basis for a month now.

Where the magic happens...
I was in cafe society heaven and so was my mate. As you know, my bread was filling and I loved the latte art on my latte. A love heart - sweet. Speaking of love, I actually did fall in love with this cute little cafe. I would be doing Sydney (this amazing city I live in) a huge disservice if I did not share this establishment through my work. A little leaven of joy opened up. The latte was well roasted, fresh and aromatic. Beautiful latte art. Real artists live here.

The yummy cakes...
Furthermore, the good news awaits: I only needed one sugar in my coffee this time round. Not the normal two or three sugars I have to opt for on otherwise normal coffee occasions.

Yummy stuff from the lab...
It is a given. Fragrance Coffee Lab needs to be visited at least once to be appreciated. Happy drinking in the lab of love Sydney.
