Visit the nineteenth century stone cottage that is Fox Creek's Cellar Door. Nestled amongst the sweeping grape vines, here you can find some beautiful spots to picnic, as well as a chance to taste some of Fox Creek's wines.

At the Cellar Door you will have the opportunity to taste some of Fox Creek's wines, from their common blends to their highly regarded vintages. You might choose to indulge by picking up a Reserve, wines that are only main when a particular vintage is regarded as outstanding. Another interesting one to try is the WOMADelaide Brut Reserve, a Sparkling Brut that is specially made to be drunk during WOMADelaide festivities. You can also become a member of the Fox Creek Circle which gives you member pricing at the Cellar Door, as well as other member benefits.

As well as being supporters of the WOMADelaide festival, Fox Creek are also involved with other Art initiatives. They are one of 39 galleries involved in the Fleurieu Peninsula Arts Trail . In their cellar door you will find an exhibition of either usually painting or photography, and outside you can find some interesting wooden sculptures on show. These pieces of art are not only enjoyable to view, but are also available for purchase. So you could leave the winery with a bottle of Shiraz and a new piece of Art.

Amongst the eclectic wooden sculptures you'll also find some lovely places to picnic. The main garden area has picnic tables and is surrounded by beautiful flowers, and would also be a lovely spot to set up a picnic blanket. You could also sit on the veranda to enjoy some great views of the winery, or if you'd like to walk a bit further you can sit by the lake. Bring along your own packed lunch to enjoy with a bottle of Fox Creek wine, or buy one of the platters available that features local produce of cheese, tapenade, and crackers.

If you bring the children along to the cellar door they can have their own fun experience. Not only will they love seeing all of the wooden sculptures, like the fun propeller plane, but Fox Creek also run a treasure hunt for kids. They can explore the winery in their own way while you enjoy the blends.

For adults who also want to do a bit of exploring, you can attend a 'behind the scenes' winery tour on Monday or Friday at 10.20am. To take part just make sure you call ahead to book on 85570000. You should also call ahead if you'll be turning up at the winery with 8 or more people so that they can give you the best experience.

To keep up with everything that is happening at Fox Creek become a fan of their Facebook page , or become a member of the Fox Creek Circle.
