NB: Although Eddy is pictured in the photos here, dogs are not actually allowed inside the cafe (but are more than welcome outside). I only found out about an hour into our visit - I mistakenly thought dogs were allowed inside, as I walked right past the outdoor seating and didn't realise this was an option. This was probably because it was 6:30 in the morning, and their layout was very similar to nearby All Inn Brewing Co. , who allows dogs both in and out. Sorry ! We won't be making this mistake again.

Like nearby All Inn Brewing Co. , is a hidden gem smack bang in the middle of an industrial hub. I paid them a visit around 6:30am on a Thursday morning, right when they opened - I wasn't expecting to find such a large crowd at this time of day. Although there weren't many people sitting down for a coffee, there were heaps of people around waiting for their takeaway coffee, presumably to bring with them to work.

The cafe, which is actually a converted warehouse space, was nice and airy - I've never seen another cafe quite like it. You were greeted by friendly smiles all round, from both staff and other patrons, as well as the wonderful smell of brewing coffee. I love the design and layout of the place - it was minimalistic, and I didn't feel like there was a sensory overload, unlike some other cafes I have been to. Seats were comfortable, and there were plenty of cushions to go around.

Service was quick despite the busy crowd, and boy, was the coffee good. It was actually my friend's first time having coffee at a proper cafe. He was quite impressed and I think he's going to start becoming a regular coffee drinker now. Yay! I had my usual order, a soy cap, and it was done perfectly. On their website, they say "we are united by the simple purpose of getting great coffee to anyone who asks for it", but I have to disagree. Their coffee exceeds being great.

Only half of the cafe had seating areas - the other half seemed to be used for storage (including for coffee beans, obviously). This only added to the uniqueness of

They also have bags of coffee beans on sale, including a crafted blend, a harvest blend, and decaf espresso. I love coffee as much as the next person, but aside from the fact that it's great and it keeps me awake in the morning, I know nothing about it. Anyone with me? If yes, not to worry - has Brew Guide_v02.pdf complimentary brew guides , to help you make the most out of your next coffee. Perhaps it's time to try something new?

The best part about buying coffee beans from is that with each purchase, you get one free coffee. Where do I sign up?

It's also worth noting that they have toilets on site inside the cafe, as well as plenty of street parking adjacent to the place. Overall, this was a great experience with great coffee, friendly staff, and perfect ambience. I will definitely be back. It was worth the drive up from the southside at 6 in the morning. On my day off next time, we'll make sure to sit outside. Thank you for your hospitality, and for being really kind despite us bringing Eddy inside.
