Fowlers Live SA Music Awards& #8232 ; 2012



The recent forced closure of the Jade Monkey live music venue has been devastating news for many local musicians and music lovers.

Perhaps the Fowler's Live SA Music Awards & #8232 ; is a good opportunity to nominate Jade Monkey as best venue, or one of the bands that has played there during its popular decade on the live music scene.

This year's awards will be announced at a free party on November 1 at Fowlers Live on Morphett St Adelaide. Free BBQ food will be available while drink prices are promised to be reasonable.

The awards will be made in a range of industry categories, the prize being an artist development package for each of the nine major award winners. They will receive a two day recording and production package at Chapel Lane Studios, complimentary day or evening venue rental of Fowler's Live (for performance, rehearsal or music video production), and enrolment in one of Music SA's short music business courses.
